Ren Farnsworth, a well-known New England bead maker, teacher and member of our Chapter will provide demos on making lampworked head pins to expand your repertoire for your beading projects. More about Ren’s work can be found on her web site, http://www.renfarnsworth.com/.

Brookfield Craft Center, founded in 1952, is recognized as one of the finest professional schools for creative study in America, dedicated to teaching traditional and contemporary craft skills, and fostering the appreciation of fine craftsmanship. They have a wonderful gift shop which opens at noon on Sundays, and is well worth seeing if you come early, and the campus is in a lovely setting. For more, visit their website at https://www.brookfieldcraft.org/

Ren Farnsworth is filling the world with color and making herself and others happy! Having spent many years designing clothes and costumes, she found the transition from fabric pieces to glass pieces a fitting one and now designs and creates a variety of glass art. When Ren is not busy with her glass work, she is either making lamp work beads, making jewelry with them and other beautiful beads, learning and teaching new techniques or buzzing around town weaving a wonderful web of artist friends and collaborators. Ren’s work can be seen on Facebook.
